The Ritchie OmniFount Series blends technology from both our traditional stainless steel units and our insulated poly units to provide the premier livestock fountain.
Designed with animal safety in mind, the Omni 1 features smooth rounded edges and a fully insulated casing for energy efficiency. The stainless steel trough features thermostatically controlled heat elements that are attached to the underside for frost free service even under the most severe winter conditions. The Omni 1’s single trough has a fast refill valve providing fresh water for up to 20 head of cattle or horses.

INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
Each Ritchie automatic waterer will require a buried waterline and a concrete pad.
EXTRA ACCESSORIES OR CONSIDERATIONS:
- Each unit will require 5" x 3/8" anchor bolts
- An all weather sealant around the base of the unit will prevent air gaps and cold from penetrating the underside of the unit.
- The Omni Series will need electric for the heat system yet will be energy efficient throughout the winter
- If you have high water pressure - water pressure that exceeded 60 PSI may cause the valve to leak. Install a pressure regulator on the line.
- Consider placing a stop and waste valve on the waterline to drain the line back to the original source. Automatic waterer installation are considered long-term and the stop and waste valve will be a nice, not often used, that will protect your line in the event it's not in use.
- Ensure the waterer is installed level.
