The V&M Add-A-Valve Hydraulic Multiplier plumbs into your tractor’s existing hydraulic remote outlets. Now you have two sets of outlets with a 15 GPM flow at a very low price.

The V&M Add-A-Valve can be mounted on either your tractor or the implement. You can “quick connect” to your tractor’s remote hydraulic outlets if they are strong enough to support the extra weight. 1/4" holes are predrilled in the valve body for easy mounting on the implement.

The V&M Add-A-Valve control grip is mounted on your hydraulic remote lever for easy one-handed operation. To operate the Add-A-Valve, you move the handle to direct flow on your primary outlet or press the switch and hold while directing the flow for your secondary outlet.

The standard Add-A-Valve is designed to work with either two double-acting cylinders or one double and one single acting cylinder. If you need to work two single-acting cylinders please ask about our One Way Add-A-Valve The V&M Add-A-Valve works well for almost any hydraulic use.

1. The valve can be directly ”quick-connected” into the tractor’s remote valve if the hydraulic remote outlet is strong enough. The 6 #8 o-ring x 1/2" mpt adapters are for attaching your quick-connects to the valve bodies. Most quick connects use 1/2" female pipe threads. If the manifolds are going to be bolted to the tractor or implement 2 1/4" holes are drilled in the manifolds. Make sure that the manifolds are protected from moving parts (3 point hitch), debris, etc. Spacers will be needed if the manifolds are going to be bolted together. The solenoids should not touch each other.

2. The manifolds are stamped with numbers for correct hose installation. All ports are female #8 O-ring-3/4"-16 thread. We suggest swivel hose fittings for easier installation. Install hoses as shown. The ports stamped #1 accept the hoses for the primary function and the ports stamped #2 are for the secondary function. The ports marked #3 are the inlet & outlet hoses from the tractor’s remote valve. The ports stamped #2 can be used for single-acting cylinders.

3. Mount the control grip on your hydraulic remote lever (U-clamps included). Spacers or shims may be required.

4. Run the control wire to the manifolds and connect all four of the female wire terminals to the male spades on the solenoids. The red wire is your “hot” wire for connection to a 12V power source. Make sure that the power turns off with the ignition switch. Use a circuit with a 10 amp fuse. A ground wire to the tractor may be required if the valve is mounted on the implement.

5. Bleed the hydraulic system to remove all air from the hoses and cylinders. Air and contamination are the biggest problems in hydraulics. Make sure you change your filter and hydraulic fluid to your tractor’s specification to help avoid problems. HOW TO USE To use the primary function (port #1) just move the remote lever. To use the secondary function (port #2) hold the red button down while moving the remote lever. When the button is released the primary function will be on.
